Really really handy [I'd give it 6 stars]

This book is super handy for anyone wanting to work their way through Schopenhauer's The World as Will and Representation (WWR). Mainly because it addresses each section of the book and the author writes really well and clearly.
The sections at the beginning, outlining overviews of themes, background to Schopenhauer's work, and extra stuff like the books reception and influence all help lock in the general feel and help get an overall understanding that can easily be branched out in whatever direction suits.
There's some handy questions at the end of sections to remind you to remember the main points and check that you have been paying attention to the important stuff.
Definitely the most useful and direct addition to The World as Will and Representation I've found yet, and compliment the other literature well.

It's a great book to get started, but be sure to pick the real book 'cause at some points it gets too general and misses some important ideas
