Will touch your heart, make you think, and inspire you to be your best

I love all of Jon's books but this one is particularly special for several reasons. First it is a true story about an amazing young man whose example continues to influence others more than ten years after his death. If you can read this without being emotionally touched you might want to check your pulse.
Second, while there are thousands of books with strategies to be a leader there are far fewer on how to lead by being a follower and by being a servant. What so inspired me about George's story was the way he became a leader without trying to be a leader.
And third, the book is filled with lots of great ideas for being a better teammate and a better friend - and a better person.

Touching Story of Someone Who Made a Difference in Such a Short Time

Having read all of Jon Gordon's other books, picking this one up was a no brainer. Very quickly I realized that this book was very different from the others. After reading this book you can add my life to the number of people that George has touched and made better. I strongly recommend this book for anyone that wants more from life. In reading this book it has cemented the realization that to get more from life I have to be and give more. Thank you George!

Highly recommend!

My husband who coaches 2 sports, one university team and one a more individualized sport had me get a couple copies for his team to pass around and another for our son who is a high level ski racer. It is very highly recommended and well worth purchasing and reading. Oh, my husband doesn't read books, he will devour articles that interest him but got through college without completing any books other than The Little Prince I think, he finished this in a bus ride (granted a long bus ride) with his team so it's a fairly quick, full read.
